Territory Sales Representative (Full Time)

We are currently seeking a highly driven Sales Representative (full-time) for the position of District Sales Lead (DSL) to join our innovative, growing company. Take a look at the responsibilities and qualifications below and see if you think you'd make a great member of the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales, advocacy and brand awareness of HP Products

  • Generate in-store buzz through passion and engagement for the HP Brand

  • Build strong professional relationships with all in-store personnel

  • Gather competitive intelligence and report on specific tactics including price moves, new products and merchandising materials

  • Complete call reports, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines

  • Maintain extensive knowledge of all products, as well as the location and and the best methods to point retail sales associates during times you are not in their store

  • Confidentially deliver HP product and sales skills training presentations in a variety of environments from 1:1 to medium group sizes for the purposes of educating consumers and sales associates, driving HP product recommendations and sales

  • Build and maintain essential relationships with retail partners through conducting group meetings, incentives, lunch & learns, and other strategic activities to help drive sales.

  • Responsible for increasing retail presence and sales through maintaining the physical presence of products on display, managing plan-o-gram product placement, seeking and procuring additional placement opportunities for HP products

  • Ensure that Client displays are clean, functional, and demo-ready

  • As requested, attend and execute at marketing events, customer rallies, product launch activities to educate and train on clients' products key features and service offerings;

  • Travel as needed to quarterly regional or national team meetings

  • Support, coach, and mentor a small number of Part Time co-workers that will be performing customer focused sales events in retail outlets that you have ownership for

  • Additional miscellaneous duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year of retail sales and training experience, tech industry is a plus

  • Experience with home electronics: printer, notebook PC, tablets, smartphones

  • Exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude

  • Outgoing and friendly working demeanor with store associates, customers and co-workers

  • Confident and comfortable business casual dresser

  • Ability to communicate effectively in 1:1 and group settings in a busy retail environment and training engagements

  • Capable self-starter that is also a team player

  • Ability to work full-time, flexible schedule. Work week can vary based on business needs and will be communicated in advance. Some schedule shifts required, as requested

  • Must reside in a centrally-located area close to the assigned territory

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation capable of holding the items above from your home to assigned store location(s) (mileage reimbursement provided)

  • Ability to lift, carry and setup a portable demonstration table and potential customer giveaway items to-and-from your vehicle and assigned store location(s)

  • Ability to lift and carry PC and Printer boxes to assist customers and set small displays as needed

  • Smartphone ownership and proficiency for the purposes of time card, visit reporting and in-aisle training delivery ($100/mo reimbursement provided for unlimited data)

  • 24/7 access to a PC computer with internet/email access

  • High speed home internet (20 GB/sec min) with wireless access (reimbursement provided)

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel are preferred
