Morrison Container Handling Solutions believes in customer support. We are the leading container handling expert in the packaging industry, seeking an Inside Sales Representative with a customer focused mindset. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will find you are supported by a customer-centric team while you chart your own course in growing the sales in our South Territory and/or Aftermarket department, with a generous base salary of $45,000-$55,000 plus commission on all of your sales. Your eagerness to learn the technical side of the industry while applying your keen social skills will serve you well in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES for Inside Sales Representative:
Grow aftermarket sales, includes calling current and previous customers with machines.
Assist with territory sales and facilitate communication with customers across the world
Direct communication with new and existing customers for project updates when required, includes confirming all information is gathered (color, containers, orientation, etc.), customers calls in RSM territories to help identify prospective clients and quotes follow up
Complete standard quotations
Occasional travel to customers to learn about the industry, better understand MCHS’s customer base and support accurate application quotations
Territory assistant for Director of Sales territories (Illinois and Northern Indiana) and South territory
Collaborate with coworkers to exchange information, such as selling strategies, marketing and engineering information, includes assisting with transition from sales to engineering once orders are placed.
Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time
Learn to possess basic AutoCAD tasks to understand designs
Complete expense reports, sales reports, and other paperwork required
QUALIFICATIONS for Inside Sales Representative:
Education: 4-year degree in related field preferred.
