Morris Midwest WI & IL, a regional distributor of CNC machine tools, tooling and accessories, and related engineering and support services is seeking a Service Administrator. This person will assist with the administrative duties and support the service channel as they relate to and present themselves for parts, contracts, sales, reception, and general office work. This position strives to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive calls from customers and begins case in Salesforce for technical support personnel.
  • Assist in processing accurate manufacturer documentation back to builders. (Warranty, Installation, etc.)
  • Prepare machine service and preventative maintenance quotes
  • Assist in technical procedure and other documentation development.
  • Work with service managers to ensure technicians are scheduled, dispatched and customers are aware of estimated on-site arrival times.
  • Prepare customer service invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Assist service managers with tracking of parts and other customer commitments.
  • Contact suppliers for scheduling of service work as needed.
  • Prepare and assist in light duty shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Front desk/receptionist duties as needed
  • General office/break room cleaning daily as needed
  • Provides vacation relief for other team members
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including flight, hotel, and car reservations in accordance with company policies as needed
  • Ensure customer commitments are completed as planned and exhibit ownership of problems, including coordinating with appropriate departments when vital for resolution of problems to ensure customer happiness
  • Enforce all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in the field
  • Maintain basic knowledge of product lines represented by the company
  • Connect with both external and internal customers such as customer service and sales, personnel and other internal departments.
  • Back-up support to the parts group and invoicing.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Associate’s Degree in related field and two years of applicable experience required; combination of education and applicable experience would be considered
  • Intermediate to advanced typing and digital literacy (ex., Microsoft Office Suite, data processing, etc.)
  • Intermediate to advanced math and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and handle multiple priorities with minimal direction
  • Ability to follow standard to sophisticated written and verbal instructions such as bills of materials and shipping documents, or equivalent
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups, both professional and non-professional, co-workers, management personnel, the public and others
  • Ability to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision
  • Proven written and verbal communication, listening, organization and priority setting skills
  • Understand and be aware of contract policies
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups, both professional and non-professional, co-workers, management personnel, the public and others.
  • Ability to travel nationally and regionally up to 10% of year for training purposes
  • Ability to perform job with integrity and values consistent with the Morris Group Values
