Moon Valley Nurseries is searching for a HR Intern, this position will be a Temp to Hire role with many Opportunities within our HR department in Riverside, CA. The position requires excellent discernment regarding private information and an exceptional ability to maintain an efficient and organized workflow for all HR operations. This position assists the executives of the company in some administrative aspects of the business, including but not limited to, corporate events, travel, calendars, the triage of employee questions and requests.

Length of Role: 6 Months before job offer is extended.
· Assist in conducting benefit audits and ensure compliance with company benefit policies
· Employee file audits, including I-9s
· Maintaining employee files and keeping up to date and secure
· Employee inquiries
· Processing new hire and termination paperwork
· Weekly HR Lesson and research assignments to include labor law and other related Human Resources topics
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following
· Currently enrolled in a College Degree Program (Required)
· 1+ year of prior work experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
· High attention to detail, excellent follow up, and customer service skills
· Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
· Outgoing personality, but professional
· Strong research skills
· Outstanding Academic records
