Monument Realty is seeking a detail-oriented individual with an interest in commercial real estate to join our team as Office Manager. General Purpose – Office Manager
Responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
- assist in the planning and coordination of company events and meetings
- assist in various departmental assignments, i.e. Marketing, Property Management, Development, etc.
- organize orientation and training of new staff members
- ensure filing systems are maintained and current
- establish and monitor procedures for record keeping
- design and implement office policies and procedures
- oversee adherence to office policies and procedures
- implement procedural changes to improve operational efficiency
- co-ordinate schedules, appointments and bookings
- monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
- review and approve office supply acquisitions
- handle customer inquiries and complaints
- maintain a safe and secure working environment
- provide administrative assistance to the management team
- coordinate with the corporate IT provider for IT services
Education and Experience
- business degree or equivalent preferred
- high school diploma with a number of years administrative experience
- knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
- knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
- knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
- computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
- prior commercial real estate industry experience preferred
