A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN GROUP LEADER

As a member of the Quality department we are always committed to ensuring the quality of our product for our customer. Assists in the creation of control plans, data collection and layout inspection for the production process. Perform various inspections on raw material and products manufactured by MSC. Assists in the disposition of non-conforming material. Develop documents related to the APQP/PPAP process. Report results of scrap, rework and measuring equipment calibration. Perform gage R & R studies and evaluate SPC data. Communicate with customers regarding quality related topics. Daily, you make a positive impact within a rewarding career with a great company!

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED

2+ years in Quality related field in manufacturing is PREFERRED

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

AIAG Core Tools

Statistical Process Control (SPC)

IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards (general)
