Montana Psychiatry & Brain Health Center is a cutting-edge outpatient mental health clinic dedicated to improving the lives of our patients in Billings, MT with a focus for expanding access to care across Montana and the continental NW as a whole. We are expanding and adding a new clinic location in Bozeman, MT!

We have an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE Adult and/or Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our tight-knit and collaborative multi-disciplinary team at our new office located in Bozeman!

Your day-to-day:

  • Provide psychiatric supervision and administrative direction to clinical and support staff, including advanced practice practitioners

  • Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations to include intake assessments as well as follow-up assessments.

  • Provide outpatient interventional psychiatric services to include TMS, Esketamine/Spravato, & Intravenous Ketamine Infusion Therapy.

  • Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with the patient and patient’s families

  • Prescribe medications when necessary

  • Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plan

  • Make referrals to specialists as appropriate

What do you need to be successful?

  • Must possess an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Montana

  • MD or DO degree (or international equivalent)

  • Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist

  • Eligible for paneling on all major insurance plans and to participate in Medicare

  • Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required

  • Experience with interventions such as TMS, Esketamine/Spravato, and IV Ketamine would be favorably considered, but not required, as on-site training is available
