Member Services Representative | Temp to Perm position | FT (Mon. to Thurs. 10 AM – 6:30 PM, Fri. 11 AM – 7:30 PM) | $21/hr | On-Site | Newtown Square, PA

Excellent opportunity to join this long-established Client based in Newtown Square, PA.

A day in the life of a Member Services Representative

Assist callers (members, dependents, providers) with membership’s health benefits (medical, dental & vision) – answer an average of 75 calls per day
Assist callers with verification of benefits & eligibility
Help with problem claims
Educate membership on existing Plan benefits
Direct callers to proper departments

Requirements for the Member Services Representative position

Two-years of college and/or Insurance courses preferred
Minimum two years customer service experience and/or processing online medical claims
Basic P.C. skills (Word, Excel, PC operating systems)
Knowledge of CPT & ICD codes
Knowledge of PPO network experience helpful
Dental/Vision claim background helpful
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent oral & written communication skills – excellent phone etiquette/good voice tone
