  • Own and execute full-spectrum background screening process, including but not limited to:
    • partnering with Recruiting and hiring managers, providing status updates at least 3x daily,
    • submitting daily orders, tracking request statuses, troubleshooting issues, interpreting + communicating results to managers,
    • proactively avoiding delays, making contingent hire recommendations to Asset Teams
  • Own and execute full-spectrum HRIS onboarding process, including but not limited to:
    • monitoring progress within Prism, following up where needed, assisting with corrections,
    • troubleshooting issues, supporting terminations that occur per irresolvable onboarding issues,
    • submitting requests for and ensuring system access is granted promptly for Monarch University and HRIS MSS (when applicable),
    • providing next step instructions on benefit enrollment and courtesy officer setup
  • Own and execute full-spectrum acquisition HRIS onboarding process, including but not limited to:
    • Proactively obtaining all needed acquired employee information,
    • Tracking progress to ensure timely completion, escalating and following up as needed (New Property Worksheets),
    • Promptly communicating and partnering with 3rd party PEO points-of-contact (weekly re: close dates, benefits enrollment, etc.)
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure rehires are processed correctly and in compliance
  • Pull, analyze, and resolve discrepancies within the New Hire Report multiple times per week
  • Audit PTO benefit plan assignments once a week, directing 3rd party PEO to make corrections as appropriate
  • Create and maintain up-to-date reference guides and documents on internal website for all related function areas
  • Partner with HR team members at all levels to support and improve effectiveness of HR functions (APA, Handbook updates, intranet document maintenance, etc.)

 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (not limited to):

  • Combination of relevant education and work experience may be considered:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, or a related field
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative HR position
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of HIPAA guidelines, recruiting and onboarding-related legal regulations and requirements
  • Intermediate-level Excel, Word, and Internet proficiency
  • Exceptional work ethic and customer service orientation, actively demonstrating:
    • Courtesy, responsiveness, proactivity, good listening skills
    • personal responsibility for assigned tasks/projects, seeking out opportunities to take initiative while meeting deadlines
    • a high degree of productivity and skill in testing, troubleshooting, and problem solving
    • how to work effectively in a diverse workforce
