Job Description

MAINTENANCE TECH II (FULL TIME) position now open to join our awesome team maintenance team in Omaha Nebraska. This hands on job will deal with make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and shared on-call (once a month). Strong plumbing skills and EPA certificate preferred!

$1500 Sign-on Bonus!

PAY: Up to $23 an hour plus up to $2,000+ in bonuses throughout the year!

What We Need:

  • Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed
  • Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
  • Snow removal (when applicable)
  • Pool maintenance (where applicable)
  • Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
  • 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
  • Dry walling including painting and carpentry
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred • Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
  • Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal • Some knowledge of HVAC and/or boiler system knowledge required (where applicable)
  • Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas
  • Have good verbal and written communication
  • Problem solving skills • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents • Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
  • Pool certified or willing to get certified within the first season (where applicable)
  • Basic personal computer skills with Microsoft Office software applications for purpose of ordering supplies, managing work order system, inventory management and creating work/schedule plans
