Strategic Planner Level 2 
As a member of the COLOSSUS program providing Enterprise Planning and Management support, you will directly support office leadership to assist them in developing, executing, and refining corporate plans, roadmaps, and processes to enable the long-term strategic objectives of the organization. The COLOSSUS program supports a range of functions to include strategy development, enterprise architecting, portfolio management, policy development, and governance facilitation and assessment. Your day-to-day activities will include development of white papers, technical roadmaps, briefings, execution of governance processes and boards, and development and tracking of organizational performance metrics. You will develop executive- level communications and correspondence with a high degree of comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness of written information. You may also be asked to support enterprise-level activities such as strategy development, investment management and planning, and architecture development.  

In this role, you will 

  • Support the office’s Technical Director by developing capability roadmaps and plans, working across the office to gather inputs from leadership, government PMs, and contractors.  
  • Research and prepare advice, information, reports, and briefings on diverse and complex policy, planning, and operational matters to facilitate informed decision making and planning at the group/office and directorate level.  
  • Execute program management reviews and develop/maintain metrics on portfolio performance to provide group/office leadership insight into program execution.  
  • Identify and develop process improvements for the group/office.  
  • Plan and coordinate an organization's strategic and long-range goals, management concepts, and business practices.  
  • Lead and/or contribute to projects to inform decision making and support achievement of organizational objectives.  
  • Develop and coordinate action responses.  


If you're right for this role, you have 

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.  
  • MS with 5+ years or BS with 8+ years of demonstrated performance related to tasks above.  
  • Knowledge and understanding of information technology (IT) business applications and related IT infrastructure services.  
  • Experience developing IT roadmaps.  
  • Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility.  
  • Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Self-driven with the ability to work on a small contract team supporting the leadership of a large multi-organizational team (Government, FFRDC, SETA, Developers)  



  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics 
  • NRO or IC experience 
  • Certifications related to functional responsibilities such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 
  • Experience assessing organizational processes against maturity models
