Job Summary The Government Affairs Analyst supports the Client Experience team’s content creation by working directly with the team's Government Affairs Specialist to address their information requests and provide key policy insights. Additionally, the GA Analyst I communicates the different ways through which federal and state governments fund their climate policy priorities to our stakeholders, is highly organized, capable of summarizing technical information, and excels at translating written content into visuals. Duties and Responsibilities Collects and organizes specified data from and within various programs (airtable, hubspot, etc.) Addresses inquiries from Client Managers Creates content for Client Managers, including: Agency Funding Opportunity Notice summaries Funding slides Varying presentation (policy updates, new programs, etc.) Campaign plan support Newsletters Aggregating Key Performance Indicators for Client Managers Tracking and scheduling webinars and agency business meetings Attending pre-application and application workshops for Agency Funding Opportunity Notices Additional related duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities None Reporting Relationship The Government Affairs Analyst I position reports to the Government Affairs Specialist Requirements Desired Skills and Abilities Creative thinking and problem-solving skills supporting the development and roll-out of unique, new services offered by the company A passion for renewable energy, alternative transportation, and clean tech Highly organized and capable of managing complex initiatives, projects, and clients simultaneously Impeccable written and verbal communication, tailored appropriately to numerous key players both inside and outside of the organization Capable of creating high quality content for internal and external stakeholders (PowerPoint, newsletters, etc.) Desired Education and Experience No previous experience required Should exhibit an interest in policy and budgeting Benefits Momentum offers a competitive package of benefits that includes: Competitive base salary Annual bonuses 100% employer paid health premium options available for all full-time staff Simple IRA with matching contributions Paid-time-off (PTO) of 80 hours/year Paid sick leave of 40 hours per year 12 company holidays Employer paid life insurance policy $50 Cell phone stipend $2,000 annual professional development stipend Salary Range $68,000 - $78,000 + Bonus.
