Job Description

 Purpose and Scope:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the ensuring the enforcement of Cleanpart-US Corporate Policies and Procedures, supporting site-specific continual improvement efforts required for future growth of the company while maintaining daily production throughput schedules. This role will require strategic placement of production personnel to make certain delivery commitments are realized. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring personnel performing production related tasks are trained and certified in the activity being performed.

Organization Relationship:

Production Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager of the supporting Cleanpart USA facility.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to

·   Always adhere to Cleanpart USA Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures

·   Monitors, promotes, and enforces personnel activities to ensure tasks are performed in accordance with Cleanpart-US Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures

·   Coordinate daily personnel assignments to ensure production schedules and delivery commitments are achieved

·   Ensure personnel are trained and certified in the production tasks being performed

·   Schedule personnel for training, including cross-functional, to maximize team member capabilities, knowledge and skill sets

·   Has advisory involvement with employee performance reviews, attendance, disciplinary matters, and personnel developmental needs

·   Conduct effective root cause analysis when investigating production-related non-conformances, provide constructive corrective action recommendation, and foster solution implementation

·   Update quality records completely and accurately within required data collection systems and databases

·   Cultivate a positive work environment through constructive leadership, open communication, teamwork, continuous improvement activities and sharing of best practices

·   Effective communication with all levels of staff within the organization

·   Perform any reasonable assignment or task as requested by supervisory management


·   Maintain

o ZERO Management Preventable OSHA Recordable Incidents

o <=2% Overtime

o >=95% On-Time Delivery (OTD)

o “Passing” 5S Audit Score

·   Report (documented) obstacles and proposed correctives required to minimize negative metric impact

Skills I Qualifications:

·   Diligence in following procedures, prioritizing, multiple tasks, and producing accurate, high quality, detailed results

·   Well-organized, self-starter able to work independently while promoting a team-environment

·   Outgoing personality with effective oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers alike

·   Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

·   Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

·   Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

·   Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees and/or management

·   Prefer someone with Machine Shop experience and some knowledge of reading drawings and understanding geometric tolerancing.

·   Must have High School diploma or equivalent

·   Minimum 10 years industry-related work experience

·   Minimum 5 years supervisory experience, departmental lead or work center champion

·   No felonies or convictions within past 10 years to ensure a clear background check
