Fedex Delivery Driver

A top-notch team with FedEx Ground is seeking both Full-time and Part-time delivery drivers. The work week will be 3-6 days a week. All deliveries and pick-ups are made in the extremely fast growing community Lakewood Ranch.

Eligible candidates must have a positive mindset, be punctual, and have reliable transportation to and from work. Attention to detail and safety is a must for this position.

Earning potential can reach $1200 a week!

Responsibilities:

• Load vehicle with assigned route for the day at the Palmetto, FL terminal
• Safely and accurately deliver & pick-up packages in a timely manner
• Pre and Post trip inspections of vehicle
• Properly code packages in scanner
• Maintain accurate inventory of packages

Training will be provided

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 full year of verifiable business/commercial driving experience within the last 3 years (ex: package delivery, furniture delivery, moving companies, OTR trucking etc.)
• applicants must be at least 21 years of age
• have a valid Driver's License
• have proof of authorization to work in the US
• have a CLEAN MVR (motor vehicle record will be checked)
• pass a criminal background check
• must have or be capable of obtaining a 1 or 2 year DOT Medical Card
• be drug free (pass immediate and random drug tests)
• be in good physical condition and able to handle large and/or heavy packages up to 150 lbs. This is a very physically demanding job & could involve climbing stairs
• must fluently speak, read and understand English
• capable of operating a scanning device
• have reliable transportation to and from work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: Up to $1,200.00 per week
