Job Description Company . has a career opportunity for a Project Coordinator/Office Administrative Assistant to work in our Kansas City office. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual with 3-5 years transferable experience as well as strong administrative and organizational experience. This position will support a start-up office environment working with various groups including development, real-estate and general construction teams. Specific duties include: Acting as liaison between project managers, superintendents and subcontractors; internal and external customer assistance; preparing contracts and scope documents for subcontractors and owners; management of all aspects of shop drawings and design documents; processing pay applications, change orders, addendums and requests for information; management of the project close-out process including creation and distribution of OandM manuals; as well as general administrative duties. This position will also support the growth of this newly established office and will be responsible for the following additional activities: office reception duties, scheduling meetings with internal and external customers, arranging travel and lodging accommodations for staff, maintaining a professional office environment, preparation and submittal of expense reports and file management. Other responsibilities will include preparation of proposals, assisting with organizing company events open houses, ground-breakings, career fairs, etc. and assisting with team registrations and sponsorships. Successful candidates will have a high level of energy and professionalism, ability to prioritize and multi-task, great communication skills both verbal and written and have a heart for service to both internal and external customers. The successful candidate will also be flexible in a fast-paced, newly formed office environment, and capable of working proactively, collaboratively, and independently. Prior experience in a construction/engineering/design environment is highly preferred.
