Position Summary: Under guidelines set by policy and general supervision of the Rehab Services Director, the Manager of Inpatient Rehab: * is responsible for integrating their department's services with the hospitals primary functions. * coordinates and integrates services within their departments and with other departments. * develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. * recommends a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care/service and assures the qualifications and competence of those staff members who are not licensed independent practitioners meet the needs of patient care and non-patient care services. * provides orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in their departments. * continuously assesses and improves their department's performance and maintains appropriate quality control programs. * recommends space and other resources needed by the department and participates in selecting outside resources needed by their departments. * the position will be responsible for all employees timekeeping, payroll, evaluations * providing clinical care of patients as needed and according to therapist training e.g. if Certified Hand Therapist, refer to Certified Hand Therapist Position Description. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in PT, Bachelor's or Master's degree in OT, or Master's degree in SLP. Licensure/ Certifications: Current State professional licensure or license eligible. Current BLS required. Experience: 5 years clinical experience in an inpatient acute care/rehabilitation setting and one year of supervisory experience in the rehabilitation field is required.
