Job Description

Mission is a damn good team making some damn good work and we're growing. The position is open to experienced designers who are thoughtful in their planning, conceptual in their thinking, and precise in their craft. As a Senior Designer at Mission, you will be expected to lead project and retainer work in partnership with our Art Directors and Account Strategists. Being an integrated thinker is a must as is being able to share your experience through mentorship and collaboration.

In this role, you'll be responsible for doing a lot of thinking followed by a lot of making for our clients across the sports, destination, arts, entertainment, education, and non-profit industries. At every juncture, you'll work closely with other members of the Mission team to achieve (and celebrate!) successful results. We're looking for someone who is ready to think creatively, share their unique perspective, and work collaboratively.

  • Understand branding and design's abilities to create emotional connections
  • Research, conceptualize, and execute design challenges through completion
  • Work on a wide variety of brands that demand different aesthetics
  • Collaborate closely with other designers, copywriters, directors, and account leads.


  • Be highly creative and conceptual
  • Be fueled by collaboration and willing to contribute to ideation
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including being able to take initiative and ask questions as needed
  • Be able to think positively and critically about goals, solutions, and feedback.
  • Have time management skills and be able to work within deadlines and budgets
  • Have an interest in social, cultural, and aesthetic themes and trends
  • Have a strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other industry standard applications


  • Flex strong competencies in After Effects and Premiere
  • Composite, Edit, and retouch photography
  • Fully think through a user journey and crush a wireframe
