Job Summary
The Regional Clinical Director is responsible for the overall clinical management and quality of services for their assigned region. This position will support the clinical team including; Clinical Directors, BCBAs, and LBS’ through mentorship, professional development and oversight to ensure that each clinic has the best possible outcomes and is in compliance with best practices.
*This position would cover our Wyomissing, Easton and Allentown clinics
Essential Functions:
- Supervises Clinic Leads including establishing performance expectations, consulting on performance and clinic issues, and monitoring program progress
- Fosters and instills a positive team culture in each of their clinics and assists clinic leads in developing and maintaining efficient clinic processes
- Participates in the hiring of BCBAs and LBS’ within the region and completes their onboarding training
- Conducts regular internal audits and evaluation of fidelity to ensure optimal implementation of treatment interventions
- Uses and disseminates metrics to Lead BCBAs (Key Performance Indicators) for sound decision-making and is solution-oriented in addressing needs
- Assists with the development and implementation of RBT training curriculum, ensuring training integrity across all regional clinics
- Monitors and ensures timely completion of effective documentation
- Remains up to date regarding current trends, developments, and new research related to ABA
- Ensures compliance with staff qualifications and training requirements in accordance with both BACB and IBHS regulations
- Resumes role as Clinical Director when needed
- Participates in the development and reporting of the quality improvement plan for assigned clinic
- Dedicate 1 day per week to each clinic within region
- Coordinates with other Regional Clinical Directors and participates in frequent mentorship with the Chief Clinical Officer
Admin Director
- Participates in the development and reporting of the quality improvement plan for assigned clinic
- Oversees staffing and scheduling to ensure coverage and optimize utilization
- Ensures compliance with staff qualifications and training requirements in accordance with both BACB and IBHS regulations
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Board certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA, BCBA-D)
- Behavior Specialist License
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of ABA including comprehensive intervention development and implementation for children and adolescents
- Master’s Degree or PhD in ABA or related field
- Minimum of three years certified as a BCBA and supervisory experience
- Experience training, mentoring, and managing other BCBAs and supporting a team in an intensive treatment environment
- Ability to take initiative and lead in an environment of constant change with a strong set of ethics
- Ability to give constructive feedback and maintain healthy, productive working relationships
- Experience conducting FBAs and designing behavior intervention plans based on the results
- Experience training new behavior therapists and family members regarding client treatment plans
- A passion for building positive culture and systems
- Experience with various assessment tools, including VBMAPP, ABLLS, AFLS
- experience designing and implementing treatment plans and recommendations based on results in the initial assessment
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data and summarize progress across multiple clinics
- Strong time-management skills along with flexibility and the ability to prioritize
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong written communication skills
Minimum Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move for 30% of the day
- Use of hearing, hands and eyes 100% of the workday
- Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally during the workday
- Office environment – may be exposed to loud noises when children are present
- Stamina and ability to work all assigned hours
