We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of clerical and office tasks. While this is an entry-level position, we are always looking for someone who may be able to grow with us.

As a nursing agency, we deal with patients and healthcare professionals on a daily basis. Most importantly, we require someone who carries themselves in a professional manner and can provide the caring and empathy our patients deserve.

Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and multitasking skills. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should help to ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and emails.
  • Assist Administrator and other office staff as needed.
  • Maintain and Update employee charts.
  • Act as a liaison between Minerva, our referral sources, nurses, and patients.
  • Take minutes at staff and other meetings.
  • Create and maintain patient charts for continuity and scheduling by entering pertinent information into EMR.
  • Perform nursing department audits as needed.
  • Troubleshoot any phone calls or emails received regarding a patient's schedule.
  • Run reports for nursing and therapy departments.
  • Run and maintain daily reports, which include verifying quality of care provided to patients.
  • Patient care and safety is always the main priority. The administrative assistant is in constant communication with our patients, vendors, physicians and nurses. Consistently maintaining a professional and caring demeanor is essential as is the ability to multitask and remain organized.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
