Distribution Sales Manager - PMLS

Job Summary:

Responsible for establishing, driving, and maintaining the Mindray Distributors in a specific geographic territory and specific accounts and ensuring that sales targets are achieved for the North America Alternate Market business.

Position Specifications:

Essential Functions

  1. Lead and Coach the Distributor network to meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Develop and manage relationships with distributors.
  • Conduct sales training for distributor personnel
  • Assist distributors to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Work with distributors to promote Mindray products
  • Provide distributor-level sales support
  • Track all orders in coordination with Mindray sales support and the Finance team


  1. Maintain a high level of Mindray product knowledge
    • Present Mindray products for demonstration
    • Coordinate in-service as needed with the PMLS Direct and Clinical teams
    • Attend product training and sales training as needed


  1. Coordinate/Attend tradeshows - local, regional, and as needed, national
  • Be present in the booth to demonstrate products and build relationships
  • Compile and follow up on sales leads in coordination with the Marketing team


Knowledge/Educational Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years of healthcare capital equipment sales experience. 2 + years of Patient Monitoring and Anesthesia system sales experience preferred. Distribution experience preferred.
  • Education: B.S. / B.A.

  • Strong sales skills and knowledge of the strategic selling process.
  • Strong Patient Monitoring clinical knowledge.
  • A motivated, self-driven, strategic individual possessing excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a passion for success and an ability to coach and lead sales teams
  • Strong competency in strategy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, and creative skills.
