Salesforce Administrator supports the Salesforce platform. This position serves as a liaison between different levels of management, assisting with strategic planning, analysis, and end-users. Troubleshooting issues while aiding the end-users to ensure application needs are met. Responsible for making changes in program operations, policies and procedures.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

·       Daily administration and support of Salesforce including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations

·       Work with management and end users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers

·       Develop and create customized reports and dashboards

·       Track, analyze and report on customer and supplier trends

·       Log and track identified system problems through resolution

·       Administration of any middleware tool(s) supporting system integrations(s)

·       Data administration: mass import of records, duplicate maintenance, mass updates of records

·       Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration

·       Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including program staff, programmers, strategic planning and analysis staff and/or outside consultants as needed

·       Manage the software testing process; devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing

·       Train new and existing users on how to use applications

·       Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality

·       Provide recommendations for process improvements

·       Perform additional duties as assigned

 

 Skills and Experience

·       College degree or equivalent work/technical experience preferred

·       1+ year Salesforce experience and/or Salesforce Administrator Certification required

·       3+ years Salesforce experience and/or Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification preferred

·       Experience in SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Java, and Apex

·       Excellent communication and analytical skills

·       Excellent attention to detail

·       Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple priorities
