General Information:
Job title: Clinical Abstractor
Schedule: Temporary position; Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
- This position is an onsite position and does not allow for remote work
Weekend rotation: None
Holiday rotation: None
Position Summary:
Transfer clinical information from NextGen into the Expanse EMR. Training will be provided to ensure appropriate information is abstracted.
Position Responsibilities:
- Abstracts required data elements from various sources into the Expanse EMR.
- Follows instructions to complete each record requirement is entered and verified.
- Maintain log of completed assignments.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
- Strong typing skills
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for a full day
