Job Description

We have openings for collection agents at our growing agency located in Ottawa Ks. Collections and/or medical billing experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right motivated individuals. Salary is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Place outbound and receive inbound telephone calls from consumers.
  • Keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
  • Planning course of action to recover outstanding payments
  • Locating and contacting consumer to inquire of their payment status
  • Comply with requirements of the FDCPA and State Laws.
  • Performance is based on call compliance and daily call volume/effective resolution compared to assigned monthly goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task in a production driven environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced office environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Effective negotiation, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer navigation skills excel, word preferred
