Job Description

 

Well established automotive dealership in McHenry County looking for an experienced F&I Manager!  

Well-known Automotive Group has proudly served our customers for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a dedicated and talented F&I manager to join our team. We are a high volume results oriented organization which works diligently to work together to serve our customers.  The right person will have a good attitude, a willingness to serve, and a desire to make a very good living.  We are more than happy to pay top dollar for top performance.

The correct applicant will:

  • Have knowledge of Illinois finance practices
  • Have above average sales ability
  • Be detail oriented
  • Be able to generate above-average VSC penetration
  • Have a provable history of past production
  • Have at least 1.5 years of F&I experience

Job duties for an F&I manager include:

  • Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
  • Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
  • Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
  • Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
  • Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.

Qualifications

  • Local applicants preferred
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
  • Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability and collectability
  • Well-versed in title laws and registration process
  • Professional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
  • A work history that demonstrates stability.
