A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
As a Veterinary Technician, you are an invaluable help to our vets. By assisting our doctors with administrative and technical tasks, you enable them to better serve the animals in our care. Each day, you arrive at your full- or part-time shift ready to take on whatever duties need to be done. Whether you're conducting patient assessments or performing procedures, you treat each furry friend as though they're your own. With loving attention, you help them feel at ease while also reassuring and providing education to their owners. Conscientious about the accuracy of our records, you document each step as you take medical histories, perform treatments, administer medications, and more.
At times, you assist with surgery, perform radiographs, trim nails, or clean teeth. You also take care of some administrative and housekeeping tasks, such as maintaining a clean office, answering the phone, and entering charges.
