Responsibilities for Executive Chef * Overall management of large commissary operation * Supervision and development of staff * Food Research and Design * Financial management and analysis * Strategic sourcing * Development and consistent implementation of HACCP standards * Thought leadership on culinary trends and recipes Qualifications for Executive Chef * Degree in the Food Science * A minimum of 3 years as a Research Chef in a manufacturing or commissary environment * Proficient financial management skills * Incredible food development and preparation abilities * Ability to multitask * In-depth knowledge of the food industry and trends * Incredible time management skills * Ability to mentor junior staff * Ability to pass a background test Special Considerations * Experience and passion for preparing vegan, vegetarian, and/or plant-based food * Experience in packaged, prepared meals * Experience scaling recipes and operations for large volume preparation and cooking * Interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices * Preference for former Military personnel * Ability to speak Spanish and English We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
