Production Supervisor- Assembly

This position is in our assembly department and is dedicated to one specific customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead/manage 6+ employees.
Provide and manage build schedules for our assembly for one specific customer
Assures, maintains a consistent, acceptable level of individual quality and productivity performance. Focuses on Quality and On Time Delivery.
Manage all product from requesting materials from procurement based on schedules through to shipping.
Working with the customer to provide shipping updates
Will need to learn and use our ERP extensively to follow POs and work orders.
Assembles mechanical parts or units, and positions, aligns, and fastens units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using adhesives, hardware, hand tools and power tools.
Refers to blueprints and specifications to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble parts/units.
Assembles parts/units to customer specifications and tolerances. Assignments are moderately complex.
Maintains a safe, clean organized work area
Assists in the training of new employees.
Education and Experience:
5+ years of assembly, leadership/ supervision, and customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Excel- Microsoft
Experience with ERP Systems- Visual Manufacturing or Epicor
High school diploma or GED.

Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, reach, bend and move throughout the facility.
Lift up to 50 pounds without the assistance of a crane.
Must be able to safely work in and around workstation, following required safety procedures, and, where applicable, use of PPE.
PPE
Required to wear safety glasses throughout the manufacturing facility as well as hearing protection in designated areas.
1st Shift- Monday through Thursday
