Microsoft Advertising is a worldwide Sales, Marketing and Services organization on the cutting edge of the digital advertising industry. We are the engine that powers the buying and selling of digital advertising across all aspects of our digital portfolio.
We are seeking a world class Product Marketer to drive global value proposition development and go to market strategies for our Microsoft Audience Network and expanding supply partners. In this role you will work across marketing, engineering, sales and partners to ensure the right investments are made in our products and business strategies and that we mobilize our marketing engines and sales channels to deliver results for advertisers and our publisher partners.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
•Define the core value proposition for The Microsoft Audience Network. This will be set in context of Microsoft’s broader strategy for advertising as well as competitive offerings
•Build a robust model for customer listening posts, ensuring that our offering is continually delivering against customer requirements.
•Act as the product marketing functional lead for the business’s global go to market strategy and process. Deeply understand performance and make sound business judgements for strategic investments and adjustments to plans.
•Ensure that value proposition shows up across the myriad of marketing and sales assets required to go to market
•Partner with engineering to make the right technology investments and package those offerings through impactful go to market strategies.
•Work closely with marketing teams to make sure our messages are tightly integrated
•Collaborate with business planning on any required changes to packaging and business model
Key requirements for the role include:
•Ideally, a candidate will bring deep industry knowledge about the state of digital advertising. This includes trends, players in the space, and Microsoft’s current position across these trends. Knowledge of the advertising partner ecosystem is especially helpful.
•5+ years of product marketing/management experience, preferably in the digital advertising business
•Proven ability to develop a strong point of view and a corresponding plan to land that point of view across multiple organizations. This includes strong communication and collaboration skills as well as the ability to lead v-teams toward your common objective
•5+ years of product marketing/management experience, preferably in digital advertising marketing
•BA/BS required, MBA preferred
