Job Description Summary:

Within Micro-X we have multiple Business Units, each with their own focus, goals, and product roadmaps. This role reports to the Mobile Business Unit which includes a medical diagnostic portfolio of mobile x-ray for general ward use, neonatal, veterinary, outside of hospital and novel applications of the imaging chain (general purpose tube and high voltage generator).

Based out of our Seattle facility, this position will be a key addition to our Micro-X North American team. The role of the Technical Support Lead is to help create, establish, and manage the technical support of Micro-X products within North America.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the technical support strategy, procedures, and infrastructure for Micro-X products in the North American region.
  • Meet the service needs of the region including installation, demonstration, certification, upgrades, complaint resolution, customer service and sales support.
  • Work with internal and external engineering teams to evaluate customer problems, identify root causes, and derive resolutions within established response times.
  • Manage performance analysis of products and communicate customer feedback.
  • Create knowledge bases, training materials, and FAQs for product support activities.
  • Conduct service upgrades of Micro-X products within the Quality Management System.
  • Manage and maintain our Seattle, WA service site and storage of products and parts.
  • Work with the sales team to assist with promotional activities, customer retention, and overall growth while providing world-class customer service.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Proven success owning and executing a technical support strategy
  • Experience building and leading a team, both in person and remote
  • Methodical technical fault-finding skills and root cause analysis techniques on complex digital technology
  • Experience working with products and services that meet the highest technical, quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Trained and experienced in servicing and supporting healthcare products in the medical device environment
  • Ability to manage extensive domestic travel and the willingness to travel internationally.
  • Able to effectively deliver training and support one on one, in classroom and at customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Servicing and supporting devices in the Radiology sector, Biomed also a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting digital technology.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25%-50% (Domestic)
  • Occasional (International)

Work Location:

  • SeaTac, Washington USA / Relocation Allowance – negotiable

  • Competitive salary of $75,000 - $95,000 – depending on experience
