Excellent full time opportunity for candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical setting with knowledge of insurance authorizations. Surgery scheduling experience preferred. Must have knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 codes, NextGen experience helpful. Must have excellent customer service skills with ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities will include working under the direction of Patient Care Services (PCS) Coordinator and RN's; schedule procedures with facilities, fax all information to hospitals / facilities; schedule testing as needed, maintain procedure boarding schedule, obtain test results, medical clearances and authorizations, other duties as assigned by PCS Coordinator or Clinic Manager.
