Job Description Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant MANSOUR MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES LLC Full Time, On-Site Position Alexandria, VA
Looking for an experienced Quickbooks bookkeeper & administrative assistant for Mansour Management Associates. This position reports to the business manager for Mansour Management Associates and the business manager for BMT Group, a leasing company that supports the work of Michael & Son services. This is a small organization within the large Michael & Son Services company.
Create and post information in AR, AP, Check Registers, and general ledgers for approximately 8 entities, working closing with a Senior Bookkeeper to keep these entities running smoothly. Mansour Management Associates is a Real Estate Management Company with approximately 24 light-industrial properties from Baltimore, MD to Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include monthly rent Statements and collections for approximately 45 tenants. Other responsibilities include depreciation, real estate tax, insurance schedules, etc. Bank reconciliations. Ability to generate monthly preliminary financial statements for review and approval.
Reconciliation experience and knowledge is critical in this role as the detail necessary to control costs by classes/jobs defines the profitability of these entities. Accuracy is key in this position as we oversee a large number of companies, with a relatively small number of transactions.
Work with leasing customers to establish billing and automated collection on lease payments using Security Trax, a cloud-based system customized for BMT Group LLC. Great interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task. Extremely friendly with customers and clients on the phone and in person.
Excellent Quickbooks, Excel and Word knowledge is a must. Excellent work ethic. Hit-the-ground running type of personality with great organizational skills. Property management knowledge is helpful, but not mandatory.
