We're looking for a IT Junior System Administrator.

The right candidate will have experience in the following areas:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Responsible for day-to-day administration including Windows Active Directory object maintenance, users account setups, providing access rights and permissions.

Knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2008-2019, DNS, DHCP

Administer and configure servers, desktop computers, laptops, printers, tablets, and smartphones. Ability to install and experience with the configuration of networking equipment, switches, routers, and firewalls.

Ability to troubleshoot wide area networks, servers and routers, local area networks, and switches.

As an integral member of the IT department, being able to learn and support the call center's applications.

Act as the focal point of contact for reporting tickets to vendors and equipment manufacturers and to ensure issues are resolved.

Research, evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.

Experience with VMWare vSphere infrastructure version 6.x.

Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.

Ability to prioritize workload to ensure successful completion of projects.

Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and also being a team player.

Knowledge of the following systems are required:

Strong understanding of Windows OS technology including AD Forests, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy

Ability to install and maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.

Knowledge and experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired

Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration

Knowledge and experience using backup and recovery software and methodologies

Availability outside of working hours to promptly resolve emergency issues

Knowledge and experience using VOIP protocols and familiarity with the Call Center phone application is a plus

Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation

Knowledge and experience with SCSI SANS; Dell EQ and NetApp

Knowledge and experience with using Linux and Ubuntu is a plus

CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification

• Must possess a valid current Drivers license
