Geographic locations in which MMSI currently operates include the U.S East, Gulf & West Coasts, and Alaska. The Corporate Office is located in Southern California (Ventura) and its Regional Boat Maintenance Center a technically advanced facility in Woodbine Georgia.

How you would make an impact/key responsibilities:

Join the dynamic MMSI team as the Steward/Chief Cook responsible for the ATMO for the Navy. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for safe and efficient operation of vessel's galley.

Prepares all menus and meals.

Procures all materials associated with hotel services.

Orders and inventories all foods and food service materials.

Ensures safe, clean and efficient operation of the galley and ensures cleanliness of

passenger quarters.

Assists in the safe and efficient operation of vessel as directed by ship's officers.

Any other duties required by the supervising officer.

High School Graduate or equivalency certification minimum. Merchant Mariner's Document

required. Minimum 2 years general work experience related to maritime field with at least 6

months experience as lead chef or equivalent.

Shall possess Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Shall possess and maintain a U.S.C.G. Merchant Mariner Credential.

Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
