Role Overview
Provide general operations sales and administrative support to the company's sales department. Process customer orders, RFQ's, sample requests. Maintain planning spreadsheet. Manage day to day relationship of customers via phone/email. Provide excellent customer service to all customers, internal and external.
Key Responsibilities
Primary
- Prepare & proof sample requests, RFQs and quotes
- Customer Order processing
- Inside sales ownership of tier 3 accounts - relationship, planning, new products
- Support marketing in product line support data and documents
- NDA Administration
- Sample log management
- Print and distribute the daily backlog orders report
- Phone back up
- Filing
Shared with Director Sales Administration (back each other up)
- Company event coordination (non-trade show)
- Order Entry - all customers
- Order confirmations - all customers
- Customer Inquiries
- Customer maintenance - Infor ERP
- Part maintenance (pricing and notes)
- New customer set up in Infor ERP
- New customer credit - forms request
Other Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum high school diploma
- Associates degree and/or some college coursework preferred
- 2-3 years administration/customer service experience
- 2-3 years MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint experience
- Strong organizational skills and follow through
- Strong telephone and electronic communications skills
