Job Description

Position Description

The Finance Analyst is responsible for maintaining, updating and managing various accounting, invoicing and financial duties and assisting with managing the financial health of the company.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day financial operations within the company as specifically assigned, and assist other financial department staff as needed
  • Assist with management of in-house proprietary project software, including coordinating enhancements and security
  • Coordinate data analysis & meetings with staff to assist with successful project management & labor planning
  • Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports
  • Establish and maintain internal controls
  • Prepare monthly/biweekly invoicing backup per client specific requirements
  • Preparation and distribution of weekly labor utilization reporting
  • Process accounts payable, including verifying approval, scheduling payment and project reimbursement
  • Process expense reports weekly
  • Reconciliation of corporate credit card and local checking account
  • Assist with financial portion of company’s strategic planning/budgeting process
  • Assist with development and review of financial portion of proposals and client pre-qualifications
  • Work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively
  • Work collaboratively in diverse teams including technical and non-technical personnel
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned
  • Maintain exceptional internal and external client relations
  • Achieve performance objectives and financial metrics
  • All other duties as assigned



  • Bachelors degree in accounting preferred, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Minimum two (2) years applicable experience
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel, and proficiency in entire Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to the corporate office as well as local clients and project sites
  • Excellent concentration and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills
