Progressive Self-preform Contractor with a growing backlog of significant Projects is looking for experienced Professionals to join the Team in the Baltimore area. Our work includes water, sewer and drain systems, maintenance and emergency repair contracts along with both sewer and storm water pump stations primarily in the Public Works (Local, State and Federal) arena. These are long term, permanent positions, promotable opportunities to grow with the Company. We offer on-going training in both Safety, Technical and Business for interested individuals. Deep Sewer and Large Diameter Pipe Construction
Shoring and Sheeting
Dewatering and by-pass pumping
Safety Oriented, OSHA 30, Competent Person, First Aid/CPR
Superintendent – Full Charge; 10 plus years’ experience, reports to Operation or Project Manager.
$90-110,000, company truck, gas card, insurance, PTO and vacation
Able to plan jobs, order and release materials, provide/verify layout (line and grade), maintain relationship with resident engineers and officials, schedule sub-contractors and write 2 week look-aheads, direct foreman, operators and other field personnel, maintain and accelerate schedule, multi-task with multiple foreman led crews and operations from initial mobilization through final restoration. Overview of crew safety, OSHA compliance. Baltimore City based.
Pipe Foreman – 5 to 10 years’ experience, reports to Superintendent
To $80,000, company truck, gas card, insurance, PTO and vacation
Able to plan weekly tasks, organize crew and material needs, perform layout (pipe laser and grade level), oversee crew safety, keep daily reports and crew time, previous experience as a pipe setter required. Baltimore City based.
Pipesetter-5 plus years’ experience, reports to Foreman
To $30 per hour plus benefits, overtime when and if necessary
Understanding of line and grade, pipe laser set up and production pipe work. Skilled in handling pipe, joining, bedding and backfill. Able to operate, with high proficiency, compaction equipment, gas saws and other common equipment, assist pipe foreman with managing crews and equipment. Baltimore City based.
Operator, Excavator (20 ton plus) -10 years plus experience
To $42 per hour plus benefits, overtime when and if necessary
Strong and verifiable deep excavation experience, trench boxes, slide rail and timber shoring relating to sewer, storm and water utilities. Able to work safely in tight quarters with personnel below, respectful of equipment and able to perform required daily maintenance and reports. Able to follow hand signals and direction from trench bottom and sides, versed in proper OSHA rigging and hoisting, excavation. OSHA 30, first aid and CPR a plus.
