IT Program Manager

Basic Qualifications (Required):

• Minimum of fifteen (15+) or more years providing IT support to the Federal Government

• At least 8-10 years experience in a Program or Project Manager role leading IT projects

• Strong knowledge of the SDLC process, including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Additional Qualifications (Desired):

• Experience with managing project financial and contractual requirements

• Strong curiosity in the latest technology trends and their application in government

• Knowledge of Federal IT mandates including FITARA and FISMA policies

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Description: 

MetaPhase is seeking an IT Program Manager with a minimum of fifteen (15+) or more years of experience to be a part of our Federal & International Programs market team overseeing a variety of customer engagements and technology projects. Our team's services span IT Project Management, Requirements & Architecture, Data & Innovation, and Information Security. 

This is a highly client-facing role that supports the US Agency for International Development (USAID)'s Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Our project teams work closely together with stakeholders from all divisions of the CIO organization and across USAID to implement solutions that meet customer needs. Candidates must work effectively in teams, be sharp, creative, well written, and articulate when speaking with senior client leadership. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Provide oversight and management of IT project planning, execution, and delivery management for the CIO

• Advise multiple workstreams of IT project managers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to enable project success

• Provide thought leadership and direction to ensure that strategic and tactical plans reflect and support customer mission needs and priorities

• Manage program resources, budget, and work schedule in support of contractual requirements

• Liaison between project teams, client leadership, teaming partners, and customer stakeholders to promote proactivity, collaboration, and innovative thinking

Combination of telework and client site in Washington, D.C.; current accommodations for full-time telework due to COVID-19 response

Education Level:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or related field
 

Clearance Level:
Eligibility to successfully fulfill a Public Trust level background investigation; U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
