Role Summary
MetaPhase Consulting is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) through CISA's new international program. The goal of CISA International is to work with foreign partners to build U.S. capacity - and strengthen global capacity - to defend against cyber incidents; enhance the security and resilience of critical infrastructure; identify and address the most significant risks to the national critical functions; and provide seamless and secure emergency communications. This contract supports CISA International as it focuses its engagement on four lines of effort that coincide with the approach to international partnerships: (1) operational cooperation, (2) capacity building, (3) stakeholder engagement and outreach, and (4) shaping the policy environment.
In support of this project, MPC is seeking an International Affairs Management Associate with one (1) year of experience to support a variety of training, travel, and administrative activities to support the critical work of the capacity building team. They will provide hands-on support to the team in implementing and managing a series of programmatic growth activities aimed at growing the agency's presence and support overseas with various government counterparts. The program aims to advance the agency's cyber and physical critical infrastructure protection priorities and support the agency's international partners in their efforts to protect their own critical infrastructure from cyber and physical threats and attacks through information sharing, capacity building, and other research and development activities.
What You Will Be Doing
Manage the life cycle of an event to include logistics and coordination of all requirements for workshops, training sessions, and capacity building activities
Cultivate and manage relationships with agency, interagency and overseas partners.
Support critical work-streams, including reporting, internal and external communications, in support of capacity building activities.
Work under the direction of team lead and team members to execute international projects and initiatives.
What We Need From You (Required)
US Citizenship is required for this role.
The ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Government Affairs, Communications, Business or related field
Microsoft Suite
A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting international work or government affairs, either through work with governments, NGOs, the military, the private sector, and/or study abroad program
Exceptional client relationship building skills
Above average written and communication skills.

Travel
Ability to travel up to 20% - to include Overseas
Education Requirements
B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited College or University.
