Digital Business Analyst
Job Description Summary
The Digital Business Analyst performs business analysis and design, delivering small to medium size digital transformation activities either alone or as a member of a BA team in a large or global digital change. The Business Analyst operates with a high level of interactive communication, demonstrating high levels of inclusion and cultural sensitivity.
The role will partner with Capability Partners and Business Domain leads taking responsibility to develop high quality business requirements in an Agile environment and ensure that proposed solutions meet established AstraZeneca quality and compliance standards and business solution needs.
Digital Business Analyst within the Commercial IT Commercial Excellence & Digital Marketing area. The Digital Business Analyst partners with Capability Partners and Business Domain leads to develop high quality business requirements in relation to global omni-channel marketing strategies (deliver right message on right channel at the right time). Works in an Agile environment and ensures that proposed solutions meet defined quality, compliance, and business acceptance criteria. Performs business analysis either alone (for small or medium-sized changes) or as a member of a project team for larger changes.
Lead analysis of requirements in relation to global omnichannel transformation roadmaps
Act as an Agile Product Owner, utilising a deep understanding of the business strategy, priorities, challenges and market archetypes, combined with a thorough insight of technology possibilities
Create and manage global backlogs and prioritisation aligned to capability roadmaps and business case ROI
Collaborate with Solution & Service Delivery for delivery, service and technical expertise to ensure we deliver to business needs
Advocate common/standard solutions and reuse
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Requirements analysis and management in relation to global omni-channel marketing strategies (deliver right message on right channel at the right time)
Agile tools and methodology e.g. JIRA, BDD
Omni-channel digital marketing (MarTech) platforms: Web CMS, Outbound Marketing and Customer Data platforms e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Campaign and Adobe Target, Tealium AudienceStream.
Proven experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
Strong interpersonal skills: Challenging, Influencing, Presentation, Communication, Facilitation.
Pharmaceutical business domain knowledge is desirable but not essential
