This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all equipment used in the fabrication, machining and assembly of heavy duty truck axles in a safety and quality driven manner.Responsibilities:Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risksPerform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any handle any repairsManage other maintenance requests as requiredRecord when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing... technical support to manufacturing through efficiently responding to and resolving maintenance requests as well as proactively performing routine maintenance to ensure customer commitments can be met by production. This individual is also responsible for maintaining maintenance records in CMMS and providing feedback and technical advise to assist Maintenance Planners in scoping, creating, and improving job plans.Qualifications:Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skillsStrong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and proceduresHas high school diploma, GED, or equivalent The Industrial Maintenance Technician is expected to work cross-functionally with all other departments to perform RCA's, determine preventive maintenance effectiveness and optimize preventive maintenance to further prevent equipment downtime or failures.
Candidates are expected to have 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance as well as possess knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding and HVAC. Candidates must also possess a knowledge of electrical controls, circuits, power distribution and AC/DC motors. Knowledge and experience with Siemens, Fanuc, ABB, Heat Treat Ovens and Furnaces, and HVAC is a plus.
All safety requirements such as proper use of all PPE, safe machinery operation and hand tool operation must be followed. 5-S standards are expected.
