Meridian Behavioral Health is seeking a Qualified Professional (QP) for our Assertive Community Treatment Team in Haywood County. The ACT Team is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals consisting of a Psychiatrist, Registered Nurse, Vocational Specialist, Peer Support Specialist, Substance Abuse Specialist, Therapists, and other Qualified Mental Health Professionals. The majority of treatment is provided in the community and in individuals’ homes. The Qualified Professional is responsible for carrying out a wide range of rehabilitation and support functions designed to meet recipient needs in any of the following areas: clinical; physical health; financial; social; educational; vocational; residential; community; personal care; independent living; leisure; transportation. In addition to providing direct skill-building, support and rehabilitation interventions, the ACTT Qualified Professional is one of the team members responsible for the development and implementation of the Person Centered Plan. This position also requires participation in the on-call crisis phone rotation.
To qualify, applicants must have:
- a Bachelor's degree in Human services with 2 years of full-time accumulated supervised MH/SA experience (or 4 years of experience if degree is not Human services),
- a valid driver's license with no restrictions, and
- reliable transportation.
