Position Summary: This may be an ideal entry-level position for recent college graduates or those looking for a change in career path. The Product & Pricing Analyst is responsible for competitive product and pricing research across residential and business markets. This position plays an important role in contributing to Mercury’s growth by not only bringing clarity to our products’ competitive standing but also their performance and profitability. The Product and Pricing Analyst will work closely with product managers and functional teams across the organization, and in the process, gain valuable exposure to multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct competitive product and pricing research for our products in the residential and business markets.
  • Explore and compile cost data to help develop views of product profitability.
  • Analyze and report on key product performance metrics.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to develop product/market insights that contribute to product planning and improvement initiatives.
  • Work with product managers and leadership to help develop product strategies, and plans for enhancing Mercury’s product lines to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 0 – 2 years’ experience in a professional business function.
  • Comfortable with manipulating spreadsheet data to calculate desired results
  • Solid understanding of basic business financial and market concepts
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and analytic skills
  • Team player with strong work ethic
  • Eager to grow professionally
  • Proficient in using MS Office software packages.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
