We build and manage E-commerce stores, and provide warehousing and fulfillment services. ABOUT THE POSITION Account Manager and Customer Support is a multifaceted position where you will learn and participate in all parts of product development, client management, and the backend systems required to support them. You will develop a complete business of how the business operates, and work directly with company founders to onboard and support our clients and their customers. You will be involved in the development and growth of the business at all levels and will have a tremendous opportunity to grow at the company. CORE COMPONENTS OF THIS ROLE Account Management - working with clients to develop, source, and manufacture apparel. Customer Support - answering daily customer support tickets for various client stores. Production Logistics - you will manage the daily purchasing of goods from suppliers to be delivered to our production facility for further embellishment. This includes working with both domestic and international suppliers to procure goods.Website Logistics - you will be involved in daily website management for various clients, primarily using Shopify. This includes adding product listings, inventory synchronization, and installation of various applications. You will also be involved in client reporting, analytics, billing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Account ManagementCommunicate company services to new inbound clientsMaster a complete knowledge of our products, pricing, and technical information to effectively communicate with existing customers and site visitors.Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients you support, and manage their product development projects on an ongoing basisCustomer SupportRespond to support tickets across a multiple ecommerce storesCommunicate directly with customers via email, chat, and phone.Help process returns and exchangesGo above and beyond to deliver a memorable and awesome customer experienceProduction Logistics Communicate with our warehouse team and various suppliersSource new suppliers/products Communicate order status updates between production and clientsWebsite Logistics Ecommerce site management and product set upAssist in content creation for products and sites - photoshoots, flat-lays, model bookings. Client reporting and billing QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate for this position holds the following experience and skillsets: Several years of experience in client service in a tangible product-based industry. Understands the process and supply chain for having any sort of custom product made. Highly technologically savvy. If they don't know how to use a software or web-based application, they are able to learn it very quickly. Has extreme attention to detail and find it easy to catch small details that others might miss. Has a passion for helping people. Naturally takes a customer-first mentality and prides themself on the customer experience they provide.Strong ability to understand instructions and autonomously problem-solve.Strong organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Great stress-management abilities and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Efficiently navigate between multiple systems containing customer information.Excellent computer skills in a MAC-based environment.Able to work independently and be successful with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and dependable follow-through without needing to be asked a second time. Perfectly reliable attendance and willingness to work long hours when needed. ADDITIONAL DETAILS About our team and environment: Our HQ is a 3 story loft with a rooftop neighboring Abbot Kinney in Venice, California. This is where you will work daily. You will occasionally visit our downtown LA warehouse where all client inventory is held. There are 7 desks at the Venice HQ, where the 2 founders work alongside a team of freelancers that support MerchCamp and also various other companies. Our business is uniquely designed to be distributed and relies heavily on freelancers. We have 3 full-time employees based in Austin, St. Louis, and our downtown LA location. Our Venice office is uniquely designed to be a community space that all freelancers, clients, and friends can utilize the workspace (or rooftop barbeque) as it suites their preferred working lifestyle. It is also dog-friendly.
