Manager, Workplace Accommodations-Careers Center-Employee Health & Wellness
We are seeking an individual to lead MSK's Workers Compensation and Workplace Accommodations programs, including planning and design, compliance, financial aspects, administration, employee education, vendor management, and special projects. In this role you will collaborate with Employee Health & Wellness Department clinicians and a disability /absence management team to enable employees to remain at work or return to work safely and productively and in accordance with MSK policies, medical, and legal aspects.

•Assume responsibility for the success of the entire program while supporting day-to-day management of complex individual cases.
•Collect and maintain appropriate case documentation and data on organizational activity and other metrics.
•Identify work-related injury trends and opportunities for prevention.Collaborate with employees, managers, Employee Health & Wellness providers, •HR Business Partners, Environmental Health & Safety staff, and disability management and workers’ compensation vendors to assess fitness for duty, identify workplace accommodations and create return-to-work plans.
•Serve as accommodations representative on various MSK-wide committees, including training and development as warranted.
•Establish protocols and training in workplace accommodations and workers compensation programs for Employee Health & Wellness providers, managers, and employees.
•Develop and maintain systems for tracking and measuring the effectiveness of Workers Compensation and Workplace Accommodations programs, including direct cost savings to MSK and business units.
• Actively participate and prepare reports for the MSK Safe Patient Handling Committee and other safety-related, cross-functional committees.
• At least 5 years of related experience in a relevant role, in either human resources management, clinical work as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Registered Nurse (RN).
•MSK will sponsor time and costs associated with Certified Professional Disability Management (CPDM) and the Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) designations, which must be earned within one year of hire if not already held by candidate.
• Proven experience with informatics or data management highly preferred.
