We are currently accepting resumes for Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine; Registered Nurse - Critical Care to provide medical services at the Department of Defense Military Health System (MHS) Nellis AFB, Nevada in anticipation of an upcoming government contract award.
Position Details :
Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine (ER): The emergency department is a 24 hour operation including weekends and nights.
Registered Nurse - Critical Care (ICU) - The ICU is a 24 hour operation including weekends and nights.
Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine (ER):
Panama schedule, three days one week, four days the next week. Rotate to
Nights/Swing shift every 3-4 months.
Day shift 0645-1845
Swing shift 1100-2300
Night shift 1845-0645
Registered Nurse - Critical Care (ICU)
Three (3), Twelve (12) hours shifts a week alternating days and nights not to exceed 40 hours per week.

? Provides emergency nursing care for emergent (Level 1), urgent (Level 2), non-urgent
(Level 3, 4, 5) patients coming to the Emergency Department.
? Triages, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for all patients including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and the elderly; disabled to include visually and hearing impaired; and individuals of varying ethnic and religious backgrounds to include those who do not speak or understand English.
? Knowledge of a variety of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment, the desired effects, side effects, and complications of their use as well as the accurate administration of the pharmacologic agent, including dosage calculations are required.
? Knowledge of the administrative requirements for proper documentation of patient conditions including disease progress, acknowledgement of teaching, and follow up care.
? Assumes full responsibility for assigned patients and ancillary personnel. Delegates tasks, directs emergency room technicians, specialty technicians, and provides counseling, guidance, and patient education.
+ Shall be a graduate from a baccalaureate degree (BSN) program in nursing accredited by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required of RNs working in Emergency Room, Critical Care Unit.
+ Minimum of five years' experience with at least one year in an emergency room. One year of experience must have occurred within the last three years. Three to five years of critical care nursing experience.
