Seeing 21 or 27 patients per day in the outpatient setting.
Provide initial emergency medical care required to any civilian, military or military beneficiary requiring it in life threatening situations.
Shall provide comprehensive and continuing health and medical care services e.g. diagnosis, prevention, therapy, maintenance and rehabilitation.
Manage all adult general med inpatients to include a 5 bed ICU.
+ All physicians shall be a M.D. or D.O. The providers shall have graduated from an accredited medical college or university and have completed a residency in family practice.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS)
+ A minimum of two year's full time experience (3,600 hours) as a hands-on practicing full scope HCW in the last three years in their respective areas. Residency and fellowship time count as practicing experience. Internship time does not count as practicing time.
+ Working experience with the federal government within the last 24 months is preferred but not a requirement.
+ Board certified in family practice by the appropriate American Board. May be a new graduate of a residency program as long as they are board certified.
+ Shall have and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted federal DEA certificate and possess a Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD) number as required by state agency where the provider is licensed.
+ Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice in any of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
