Job Description
As an Medical Laboratory Sales Representative, you will increase market penetration and promotion of our diagnostic testing services. You will advocate the clinical and financial benefits of our products to all levels and call points in the hospital, specialty clinic, and physician's office including MD's, nurses, genetic counselors, and laboratory staff. The successful Account representative will need a level of sophistication to handle customer relationships with industry thought leaders, manage the dynamics between lab, doctor, and be able to drive highly complex sales to closure.

Experience of preparing and delivering customer presentations required.

Job Duties:


  • Create and implement effective sales strategies for account managers
  • Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching, and development while comparing sales result in goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary
  • Provide supervision through field visits and observations
  • Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
  • Manage a sales territory, National Expansion in Major Metropolitan Areas
  • Expand menu utilization in existing accounts
  • Sell uranalysis diagnostic testing services to new customers
  • Negotiate and manage contracts
  • Introduce new testing products
  • Develop and implement customer-specific action plans
  • Develop and deliver presentations
  • Host and assist with Trade shows
  • Manage customer data in the company database
  • Achieve sales goals
Job Requirements


  • 2 years of sales experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, B2B, or retail
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications
  • Skilled using CRM applications such as Salesforce.com, Excel Spreadsheet, or Hubspot
  • Strong track record of sales success selling a broad portfolio of laboratory testing to different medical specialties
  • Ability to sell technically complex products
  • Expertise with demand creation in a large geography
  • Experience with customer base within the territory is a plus
  • Strengths in networking and relationship development
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong time and territory management skills
  • Experience in Medical Sales, Pharmaceutical Sales, Medical Supply Sales,
  • Salary negotiable based upon experience and potential book of business.
  • Open to and enjoy travel, 50%+ in a multi-state territory
