Medina County Recovery Center

Promotes and serves the interest of the recovery center as well as the restaurant, culinary school, and other operations associated with the organization by surveying needs, determining objectives, organizing services, maintaining a close and supportive relationship with Program Managers, evaluating Program Managers based on board approved criteria, and by interfacing with the governing board of directors. Also, must survey the needs of the center's clients, and customers, and integrate with other Medina County stakeholders and surrounding areas of need.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of all recovery center and culinary institute staff by mentoring, coaching, and evaluating Program Managers.
• Promotes teamwork by developing a culture within the Recovery Center of Medina County in which exemplary teamwork, participative decision-making, growth, and caring are characteristic.
• Contributes to the board's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term issues to be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to the board's deliberation; recommending options and courses of action, especially where professional considerations are involved; implementing decisions; positively promoting the Center's mission through leading by example and through promotions/social media/assisting in the recruitment of board candidates, students, clients, and customers.
• Advances the Recovery Center of Medina County in a manner consistent with its mission by leading the Center in such a way that its values are understood by clients, staff, the board, and stakeholders (including funders), and are reflected in the daily operations of the Center.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience working for a non-profit organization
• Clinical background in SUD counseling/treatment preferred
• Experience in fiscal management/oversight including grants, public funding, and corporate/private donor engagement
• Successful experience in leading a complex organization and interacting with the larger community

Compensation

$65,000 - $75,000 yearly
