MTM, Inc. continues to grow and we are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the MTM Finance and Accounting teams with responsibilities for contract analysis, profitability analysis, budget analysis, and contract reporting, all of which revolve around adhering to strict deadlines and providing accurate and pertinent analysis/information.

This position is located at our office in Town and Country, MO

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and articulate the various drivers that impact revenue and transportation, including but not limited to, utilization, member behavior, geographical variances, etc. and how they influence plan financials
  • Lead Strike Force meetings with Program Directors, Logistics, Contact Center and various other department representatives to drive forward cost-saving opportunities
  • Complete monthly/quarterly contractually required financial reporting for specified contracts/plan/states
  • Complete monthly/quarterly rate reconciliations
  • Assist in yearly budgeting and reforecasting of company-wide revenue and transportation costs
  • Analyze factors driving any significant variances in revenue or transportation costs from prior month, budget/reforecast, or other contract/plan/state expectations
  • Research any discrepancies identified within different operational expenses at a plan-level
  • Understand and articulate the various drivers that impact plan allocations, including but not limited to, trip to call ratios, average handle time, call volume, etc. and how they influence plan financials
  • Aid and assist all relevant department representatives in the understanding of their associated plan/contract financials, from both an actual and a budget perspective
  • Complete revenue rate setting bid-models for RFPs or on an as needed basis
  • Establish solid rapport with the different business units within the company to increase interdepartmental communication and input into performing research and analysis
  • Assist with developing and creating more automated financial analytics
  • Assist with managing team workloads as needed to ensure deadlines are met
  • Perform other special projects as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Analytics; or equivalent Financial Analyst experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role
  • Previous data analysis experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or visa

Competency Based Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work and meet established deadlines and goals
  • Ability to hold other departments accountable for action items in various meetings
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Power BI, including creating and updating Pivot Tables, along with the ability to import/export data to/from Access Databases
  • Strong and accurate data analysis skills, with the ability to find truth within data sets
  • Knowledge of general accounting processes and procedures
  • Works well independently while simultaneously demonstrating effective analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of ethics and confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask in a sometimes rapid paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess the skill to adapt and learn on the fly given frequent changes of course towards requests and research
  • Strong presentation skills
