Responsible for assisting pharmacy administrative activities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains inventory levels by placing orders and/or receiving drugs/medical supplies.
Stocks pharmacy with appropriate drugs and supplies and orders pharmaceutical supplies.
Receives and routes telephone calls, arranges shipment dates, and assists in referral intake as needed.
Maintains patient files, generated prescription paperwork/labels, and clinical paperwork.
Creates communication notes based on patient contact.
Prepares pharmaceuticals for future compounding and non-compounded pharmaceuticals.
Packs and ships pharmaceuticals to patients
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Constant talking and hearing.
Constant walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, and stooping.
Constant use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects with the ability to reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities to include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
Automated mail systems experience. Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to calculate simple math. Some lifting required. Knowledge of P/C and able to type 25 wph.
High School Diploma or GED required.
